2. 30 × 40 cm Acrylic Canvas Painting
Each young artist will create their own canvas painting, learning techniques such as colour blending, layering, expressive brushwork and lace-inspired decorative effects, with step-by-step guidance throughout.

3. Charcoal & Chalk Pastel Artwork
Children will explore expressive drawing techniques using charcoal and coloured chalk pastels on coloured paper. They’ll develop their skills in shading, blending, tonal contrast and highlighting, with opportunities to create multiple drawings during the session.

Each project is carefully planned and taught step by step by our experienced art tutors. Children will learn different artistic techniques, develop new skills and receive individual guidance throughout the creative process. They’ll also be encouraged to make their own artistic choices, from colours and patterns to decorative details, while working within the guided projects.

All art materials are included, and children will take their creations home at the end of the day.

Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and a drink. There will be a lunch break and shorter breaks throughout the day.

Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Duration: 7 hours, including lunch and snack breaks

Price: £69 per child – Full day

Ages: 6 – 15 years

Places: Limited to 18 children

Step into a world of autumn colours, creativity and artistic discovery! Children will spend the day exploring acrylic painting, expressive charcoal drawing, chalk pastels and beautiful decorative techniques through three carefully designed, artist-led projects.

One of the highlights of the day is transforming a real pumpkin into a unique artistic creation. Children will learn how to prepare the surface, apply acrylic paints and develop their own imaginative designs, from charming woodland animals to colourful characters and Frida Kahlo-inspired portraits. They’ll also explore a variety of decorative craft materials to design and create a beautiful autumn-inspired crown, adding a personal finishing touch to their pumpkin masterpiece.

Another exciting project invites children to create their own 30 × 40 cm acrylic canvas painting, inspired by the rich colours and natural beauty of autumn. With step-by-step guidance, they’ll explore composition, harmonious colour combinations, blending, layering and expressive brushwork, alongside delicate lace-inspired decorative effects. Each young artist will be encouraged to develop their own interpretation, creating a distinctive painting to proudly display at home.

The charcoal and chalk pastel project introduces a different artistic approach, allowing children to explore the expressive possibilities of drawing on coloured paper. They’ll develop their understanding of light, shadow and tonal contrast while experimenting with shading, blending and highlights. This hands-on experience will strengthen their observation skills, build artistic confidence and encourage them to discover new ways of expressing their creativity.

What will each child create?

1. Magical Moonlight Canvas Painting

With step-by-step guidance, they’ll develop a magical background that will later become part of their own three-dimensional artistic display.

2. Wooden Art Figures
Children will transform two articulated wooden figures into unique artistic characters, experimenting with acrylic paints, colour combinations and metallic finishes. They’ll consider how their figures complement the colours and atmosphere of their canvas painting, bringing both projects together.

3. Brusho Colour Magic
Children will discover the fascinating effects of Brusho pigment powders in a short, guided mixed-media activity. Using watercolour paper, water and oil pastel resist techniques, they’ll experiment with the way pigments spread, mix and react to create unexpected patterns.

Each activity is carefully planned and guided step by step by our experienced art tutors. Children will explore a variety of artistic techniques, experiment with different materials and discover how painting and three-dimensional art can work together to create a coordinated display.

Throughout the day, they’ll receive individual support while being encouraged to express their creativity through their own choices of colours, textures, characters and decorative details.

Your Child’s Safety is Our Top Priority:

We are committed to providing a fun, creative, and safe environment for your child. Our lead artist, Agnieszka, has been working with local schools for over 9 years and is very familiar with the procedures and safety of children. In addition, she also runs after school art clubs for local schools.

During our workshops, children are supported by a minimum of four adults at all times. The workshops take place in a self contained building located at the back of the church, which is used exclusively for our activities during the session. To ensure everyone’s safety, children are not able to freely walk around outside the workshop areas. The building has separate toilets for boys and girls, and children are supervised when moving between spaces.

When children need to use the toilet, an adult will oversee the process, with the toilets located within the same building and visible from the workshop area. An adult will remain outside the toilet to provide supervision.

As part of the booking process, we ask for details of an additional emergency contact and the person who will be collecting the child after the workshop. We also operate a strict no nuts policy to help ensure the safety of all participants.

Our priority is to provide a positive and educational artistic experience for your child, while also ensuring their health and safety. Join us for a fun filled and inspiring workshop led by our experienced artists.
